Job Overview:
The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers. They develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, magazines, corporate reports, and digital media content.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop graphics for product illustrations, logos, websites, and social media.
- Create images that identify a product or convey a message.
- Ensure designs align with clients’ brand voice.
- Develop the overall layout and production design for various applications such as advertisements, brochures, magazines, and corporate reports.
- Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software.
- Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics, and layouts.
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.
- Amend final designs to clients' comments and gain full approval.
- Work as part of a team with copywriters, designers, video editors, executives, etc.
Qualifications:
- Proven graphic designing experience.
- Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability, and originality.
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
- Ability to interact, communicate, and present ideas.
- Up to date with industry-leading software and technologies (InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, etc).
- Highly proficient in all design aspects.
- Professionalism regarding time, costs, and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, industrial design, or interior design, or equivalent experience.
