Job Overview:
The Video Producer/Editor is responsible for capturing, editing, and producing videos for various purposes, such as marketing, advertising, and internal communications. This role requires a blend of technical video editing skills and creativity to create visually appealing and engaging video content.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Edit video footage using modern editing software and techniques.
- Maintain and organize video equipment.
- Develop production schedules.
- Manage video libraries.Â
- Ensure videos align with brand identity for both internal and external content.
- Work with the copywriter to ensure all videos have the most optimal messaging.
- Share new ideas and concepts for production and methods to push the company brand forward.
- Meet tight deadlines to ensure all necessary components are provided.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a video producer/editor.
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut).
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
- Creative mind and storytelling skills.
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing.
- Bachelor’s degree in film studies, cinematography, or a related field is a plus.
